Position as Research Associate in Freshwater Ecotoxicology at University of Sheffield

The School of Biosciences at the University of Sheffield is inviting applications for the position of a research associate in the field of freshwater ecotoxicology.

The candidate will join a research project funded by the UK Natural Environment Research Council which seeks to transform the evaluation of the risks of chemical mixtures to freshwater biodiversity in UK rivers. The research project is a collaboration between the universities of Sheffield, York and Durham.

Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant biological discipline along with experience of working in a research environment and undertaking ecotoxicological studies. Knowledge of freshwater ecology, including the ecology of invertebrates and their role in ecological processes are also essential.
