Internship on Water Quality and Chemical Policy Issues in OECD

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is looking for an intern to work on water quality and chemical policy issues within the Water Team of the Environment Directorate. The position starts in September 2022 in Paris.

The internship focusses on conducting research and drafting of a report on policies to
manage contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in the freshwater environment, focused on endocrine disruption. The candidate is supposed to carry out literature reviews and read case studies for drafting short texts. Furthermore, the candidate has to participate in seminars and meetings, prepare presentations and help in organising a science – policy workshop on endocrine disruption.

Requirements for apllications include enrolment in a full-time Masters’ degree (or a higher degree) in the field of Ecotoxicology, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences or an equivalent. Experience or training obtained in a subject relevant to water policy and knowledge about endocrine disruptors is desirable. Fluency in English is expected.
