The Department of Zoology at Oxford University, UK, is hiring a PostDoc researcher in multiple stressor ecology for three years, beginning in January 2021.
The researcher will be responsible for running large-scale outdoor stream mesocosm experiments to advance our understanding of how multiple stressor interactions shape freshwater ecosystems by improving both temporal and biological realism. They will manipulate heatwaves and nutrient pollution. It will be quantified how impacts manifest at different levels of organisation, and how previous exposure alters responses to further stress.
The post holder will be supervised by Dr. Michelle Jackson.
