Verena Gerstle wins SETAC Europe Best Poster Award!

Verena Gerstle, PhD student at the Institute for Environmental Sciences in Landau, received the Young Scientist Award for Best Poster Presentation at the SETAC Europe 31st Annual Meeting.

Verena’s research is entitled “Specific mosquito control agent? Reduction of non-target organisms Chironomidae and Odonata observed in semi-field mesocosms treated with Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis. This work is part of the SystemLink Research Training Group.
