Summer school “Dynamic Modelling of Toxic Effects” at Uni Copenhagen

University of Copenhagen is offering a summer school on “Dynamic Modelling of Toxic Effects” from August 10-19, 2020.

The toxicity of a chemical not only depends on chemical properties and the exposed species, but also on exposure time, the endpoint measured, and the exposure conditions. Mathematical modelling is a powerful tool to interpret the results of laboratory toxicity tests and to make educated extrapolations.

The course offered by University of Copenhagen explores the basics of toxicokinetic and toxicodynamic modelling, and how they can be linked. This foundation allows participants to analyse and interpret body residue and toxicity data on a mechanistic basis.

For more details, please see the flyer below and the official course website. In case of questions, you may contact Tjalling Jager (tjalling@debtox.nl) or Nina Cedergreen (ncf@plen.ku.dk). Registration deadline is May 31, 2020.
