Ecotoxicologist (Biological-technical assistant or Bachelor / Master in Biology/Environmental Sciences) (m/f/d)

Are you looking for an interesting, varied job as an ecotoxicologist in an applied research environment? Are you interested in working in a dynamic development team for applied bioassay methods? Then you’ve come to the right place! We are an established research institute and conduct applied, international research and services in the fields of ecology and ecotoxicology. To strengthen our team, we are seeking a biologist or BTA (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible, on a part-time basis (75%). We offer a varied field of activity in a relaxed, friendly working environment with flat hierarchies.

Your tasks:

  • Conducting experiments in the field of aquatic ecotoxicology (non-standard Experiments in the laboratory and field)
  • Development of new test procedures and further development of existing methods
  • Documentation of work under GLP (Good Laboratory Practice)

Your profile:

  • Completed training as a BTA or completed studies in the field of biology/Environmental sciences or comparable qualification
  • safe working in the laboratory
  • preferably professional experience in the stated field of responsibility
  • Very strong German language command and good knowledge of English
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Quick comprehension, willingness to work with detail and ability to prioritize
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Interest in creative development of practical procedures
  • Enjoy working in a team
