The PhenoTox group at UFZ Leipzig is offering an exciting opportunity for a Master’s thesis in a dynamic, state-of-the-art laboratory environment. You will gain hands-on experience in molecular biology and automated imaging techniques, including gene knockdown approaches in a zebrafish embryo model.
What you will do:
- Conduct literature research
- Design guide RNAs and perform gene knockdown experiments
- Work with modern imaging and robotic techniques
- Collaborate within a motivated, multidisciplinary team
What we are looking for:
- Strong background in biology, molecular biology, ecotoxicology, or biotechnology
- Lab experience and molecular biology skills
- Curiosity, motivation, and a hands-on approach to research
