For the Regulatory Affairs department in Wiesbaden or Munich, there is a vacancy for a REACH Regulatory Specialist (m/f/d) – hybrid working
Your tasks:
- Participate in the implementation of hazardous substance-related regulations: REACH, CLP, Chemicals Prohibition Regulation, F-Gas Ordinance and Dangerous Goods Regulations;
- Quality control of Safety Data Sheets prepared by external consultants and inventorying them;
- Documentation of REACH registrations in the supply chain as the only representative of our non-EU suppliers;
- Participation in the preparation of REACH registration dossiers;
- Substance monitoring with regard to compliance with the regulatory status (Poison Centre, CLP notifications and REACH substance quantity tracking);
- Co-operation with the Group’s European sites in the function of regional headquarters for chemicals management in close coordination with the Group headquarters in Asia;
- Carrying out employee training on REACH, export controls, the Chemicals Prohibition Regulation, the F-Gas Regulation and dangerous goods.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed Master’s degree in natural sciences (ideally in chemistry);
- Several years of professional experience in the field of regulatory affairs in the chemical industry or in consulting companies for chemical compliance/product safety;
- Business fluent in German and English;
- Good MS-Office and general IT skills;
- Willingness to travel 5-10% of working time, mainly day trips;
- Strong service and solution orientation;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
