The Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt / UBA) is accepting applications for the position of a research associate in the field of ERA. The position has to be filled before 1st April, 2023.
Some roles associated with the position include:-
- Preparation of environmental risk assessments for human and veterinary medicinal products within the framework of the implementation of the Medicines Act and Veterinary Medicines Act.
- Checking and evaluating application documents and developing requirements for risk reduction.
- Representation of the environmental assessments of the UBA in technical discussions with applicants and approval authorities.
Prospective applicants should hold a scientific university degree (master, university diploma) in the field of biology, chemistry, ecotoxicology, geoecology, environmental chemistry, environmental sciences or a comparable field, preferably with a doctorate and should have experience with environmental assessment of substances.
