Wageningen University & Research is hosting a 2-week online course on aquatic effect assessment of plant protection products starting 21 September 2020.

In the authorization of plant protection products the potential risks of active ingredients and products for the environment are assessed at EU and MS level using governmental guidance. This course running from 21 September to 6 October, 2020, focuses on aquatic effects and offers a combination of lectures, hands-on exercises and virtual classroom.

This course is an advanced course and handles aquatic effect assessment at the applied level. The organizers ask at least a Bachelor degree or similar level in natural sciences and in-depth experience with the tiered approach for effects on the aquatic ecosystem.
