The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is offering three PhD positions in environmental toxicity of plastics.
The first open position aims to understand the human exposure to toxic chemicals from consumer plastics. The project includes characterizing the toxicity leaching from common plastic materials and identifying the causative chemicals using non-target chemical analysis.
The other two open positions are part of their LimnoPlast project, and will focus on the toxicity of “bioplastics” compared to conventional ones.
