Two weeks ago, a bunch of Landau’s Ecotox students, PhDs, PostDocs, and professors travelled to Rome for this year’s SETAC Europe Annual Meeting.
The Landau crew was highly active there, contributing to the meeting as student helpers, by giving poster or platform presentations, chairing sessions, participating in steering committee meetings or simply living the conference live, i.e. assimilating a lot of the latest Ecotox-related research by, for instance, listening to talks or chatting with peers.
Besides working, some of us also found the time to visit Rome’s deeply impressing ancient sites such as the colosseum.
What remains? Another very productive SETAC meeting with the best conference food and coffee in history 🙂 Many thanks to the organizers for making this huge conference with >2600 participants possible. We are looking forward meeting the SETAC family again next year in Helsinki, to which our University is contributing to as part of the meetings’ scientific committee!
