A diversity workshop is being organized by SystemLink at University of Koblenz – Landau to explore how you experience diversity in your project in a safe and fun environment.
What does diversity mean to you? Is it an opportunity for inspiration, fun and broadening your horizons? Or do you find yourself struggling to understand your colleague’s values, afraid to make a mistake, or being discriminated by invisible conventions and prejudices?
In this half-day in-person workshop you are invited to explore how you experience diversity in your project in a safe and fun environment. Let go of the high stress of your academic life for a few hours, and allow yourself to try something new, find a sense of well-being, and reconnect with your peers through fun exercises and meaningful conversations. You will be gently introduced to the method of “image-theatre”, learning to use the body as a language to explore our common issues. No previous knowledge of theatre is necessary!
The event is scheduled to take place on 18th March, 2022 from 2 pm – 6 pm in the University premises. Prior registration is compulsory.
The workshop is open to all PhD and post-doc students (also from external institutions).
