Short Term Scientific Missions is being organized by COST-Action PERIAMAR to help scientists contribute to ERA while allowing them to learn new techniques, gain access to specific data, instruments and methods not available in their own institutions/ organizations.
The COST Action PERIAMAR aims to design an environmental risk assessment procedure to avoid unacceptable impacts of pesticides to amphibians and reptiles. With this purpose, PERIAMAR has established a multidisciplinary network of scientists from research institutions, regulatory agencies, chemical industry, environment-focused NGOs, and research private business that will analyse the available information and design an ERA protocol for possible implementation in the future.
Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) are exchange visits aimed at supporting individual mobility, strengthening existing networks, and fostering collaboration between COST Action participants.
Application forms need to be submitted online. Applicants should hail from a legal entity performing scientific or technological research such as public entities, universities, research centres, companies, associations,specific organisations, etc. These entities should either be a COST Full Member or Cooperating Member or a neighbouring country to Europe.
The internship duration is determined by the project undertaken by the intern. Maximum duration is until 20th October, 2022. . Grants upto 4000 euros will be made as financial contributions for travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses.
