Lund University in Sweden is recruiting a 2-year PostDoc researcher in ecosystem service modelling.
Preserving semi-natural habitat and reducing use of synthetic chemicals are suggested ways to benefit biodiversity and promote regulating ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes. However, such actions may differ in their effects, for example, because they promote different aspects of biodiversity, and benefits may depend on landscape structure.
The researcher will develop ecological models to predict the effects of agricultural land-use and management on different biodiversity components and regulating ecosystem services.
