The Environmental Toxicology Group at University of Copenhagen is offering a PostDoc position in in vitro and in vivo toxicity testing of wastewater.

There is a large knowledge-gap regarding which chemicals that are causing toxicity in the aquatic environment. For some toxicity endpoints, as little as 1% of the observed toxic effects can be explained by well-known chemicals.

The Vandalf project aims to reduce this knowledge-gap and increase our understanding of which chemicals cause toxicity in the environment. The postdoc will be responsible for toxicological fingerprinting and toxicity evaluation of targeted compounds in the Vandalf project.
