In this post, Jochen Zubrod announces this year’s annual meeting of SETAC GLB in Landau on September 4-6, 2019.
The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry Europe’s German Language Branch e.V. (SETAC GLB) is a regional branch of SETAC, one of the world’s most influential professional organizations dealing with ecotoxicology and environmental chemistry. The branch has several hundred members affiliated with academia, regulatory or business. At the annual meetings of SETAC GLB, cutting edge research and developments in chemical regulation are presented and discussed. Equally important, networks are cultivated, expanded, and built.
This year’s annual meeting of SETAC GLB will take place September 4-6, 2019 at the University of Koblenz-Landau, campus Landau, and will focus on “Biodiversity in water & on land – the role of chemical stressors”. The working groups “Ecotoxicology & Environment” and “Functional Aquatic Ecotoxicology” of the iES Landau, Institute for Environmental Sciences, are the main organizers of the meeting, while also the GDCh (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker e.V.) group “Environmental chemistry and ecotoxicology” is involved in organizing the event.
