The International Institute for Environmental Studies (IIES) offers a free online seminar series entitled “Air Pollution & Human Health”, running every Wednesday from February 20, 2019, to May 2, 2019.
The series will explore the chemistry of the athmosphere, particle sampling and collection, chemicals and other pollutants, their single and mixture toxicities, and risks to human health.
Each week, a faculty member from one of the contributing universities shares their research and expertise. Contributers to this e-course are York University, Finnish Meteorological Institute, Hong Kong Polytechnique University, Saint Louis University, Peking University, University of Eastern Finland, University of Melbourne, Central China Normal University and Fudan University.
The lectures will be live each week and will run approximately 30-40 minutes with a Q&A to follow. The e-course is free and available to anyone interested.
