The University of Oslo (UiO) and the University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) each offer one PhD position in ecotoxicology and marine ecology, respectively, within the Nansen Legacy project.
The Nansen Legacy is the Norwegian Arctic research community’s joint effort to establish a holistic understanding of a changing marine Arctic climate and ecosystem.
The PhD research will address aspects of pollution accumulation and exposure to contaminants in the Arctic marine food web in light of climate change and seasonality. The two students will work complementary and interact throughout.
