We have great news for all graduates of our Masters program: as a graduate of Landau’s Masters program in Ecotoxicology you can benefit from a new collaboration with the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) Europe.
The Certification of Environmental Risk Assessors (CRA) program is a new initiative of SETAC Europe and the first program in Europe that provides an internationally recognised certification of environmental risk assessors.
The CRA program recognises our Master of Science Ecotoxicology program fully and graduates of the MSc Ecotoxicology therefore fulfil all nine CRA program topics and associated competences. Furthermore, graduates that are already in a job involving environmental risk assessment can consider this as equivalent to the CRA internship. Those candidates can directly enroll for the Graduate Environmental Risk Assessor (GRA) examination by submitting a brief written report about a specific risk assessment.
In short: with your masters certificate, some practical work in your job and an exam you can directly get the GRA certificate of SETAC Europe.
Candidates submitting a report until mid-April can already take the exam at the SETAC Europe 26th Annual Meeting in Nantes, France from May 22 – 26, 2016. Exams will be processed free of charge. For more information, visit the CRA website, read the flyer that is linked below or send an email to CRA@setac.org.
