Emscher Genossenschaft Lippe Verband (EGLV) is looking for a Project Manager in Integrated River Basin Management and Ecology. The position, as part of the EU-funded MERLIN project, is in the department of river and landscape in Essen (Germany).

The Project Manager will be responsible for elaboration, demonstration and implementation of scientific case studies around the Emscher conversion. An additional role would be to create blooming meadows and also figure out a temporary settlement for the species during the construction process.

The position requires a completed Master of Science or a Diploma degree with specialization in ecology, biodiversity, river basin management and ecosystem services. An excellent command over German language is a prerequisite. Skills such as innovativeness and ability to work in a team are highly appreciated.
